Enough is Enough
We’ve had some pretty shit times as a family during the past 53 days and yesterday brought about another crescendo. Don’t get me wrong, there have been some good times, even some fabulous times, during this enforced exposure to one another. We’re just over it here, the kids want their friends and even their school life back and I want everyone to just give me some space to work, write and be. Instead, I am busier than ever with all this extra cooking, cleaning, washing, interaction, home schooling and mental health management.

Lost My Zen
I started doing what I love over two years ago and my health sensitivities mean that I live quite a slow life with much exposure to nature. So, not a lot of my life has changed, I’m now just having to share my calm space with three frustrated people, leaving me with next to no time to appreciate it or find my zen. Though, this doesn’t mean I can’t be happy for those just discovering theirs, it’s a much better existence to have.

Am Really Trying
To love this space in time and my family, but it’s proving very challenging at times. I was aware of all the fissure in my relationships, I try my best to repair the ones I can and and live with the ones I can’t. Having them plastered all over the walls in my consciousness is a bit too loud and clear, an extra burden to try to live with in these intense times.
These beautiful beings just glow, you can see their Auras around them so easily and they smell as good as they look!
Home Schooling
I just have to cover this, it is the mother of all evils! There is simply not an upside to this daily hell and yes, there is the option to let it go. But, what’s the alternative, lengthy screen activity with the guaranteed meltdowns that come from exposure regardless. We don’t possess a big garden for my kids to get lost in. We share a tiny woods with a lot of other people, so hanging about in that is still a bit of a no no. It’s more a case of do I want my children to learn something in amidst all the tears and tantrums or just add to my existing burden with a massive portion of parental guilt.
Another Necessary Evil
I know this crisis was needed, and it needed and needs to be big, in order to manifest a complete redirection in the way we humans are choosing to evolve. However, just knowing that doesn’t make it any easier to navigate with my very human character. I have to manage myself carefully in order not to get swept up into all the fear, mine’s just fear it won’t be enough or the worst is yet to come in terms of society breaking down. I don’t fear death, as you know. Actually, when I’m home schooling, I welcome it.
Great Concern
Something that is beginning to freak me out, as in totally piss me off, is that FB (I’ve abbreviated because I know Big Brother is watching) keeps telling me I am sharing illegal content?! One was a short film about an American scientist who has been totally repainted as the Anti-Christ for suggesting this “thing” is man-made and all about creating a universal totalitarian state. And the other, an article from the Daily Mail stating “it” can be warded of using mouthwash. I dared to suggest you could make your own with an Essential Oil. TBH, I am not sure what actually caused the offence, there are clearly so many options…
Shutting Down
Free speech is clearly getting shut down in these fear crazed times, certainly pointing out there are other ways is not to be encouraged. I know this “thing” is not just a conspiracy but genuinely exists, what caused or created it is up for grabs but trying to control how we choose to survive it, is totally fucked up. This is something to genuinely fear and take all measures to avoid.
Mental Health Guidance
Here is the healthy stuff I am using to attempt to stay sane, nothing is guaranteed, I’m sure you are already well versed in alcohol and chocolate so I don’t need to cover that! Though to be honest, those two things only help in the immediate moment, they certainly just add to the frays the following day….
This Peach Melba just cannot be properly caught on camera, she glows so much she turns the air around here, which is thick with Aromatic Essential Oils, peachy.
Lockdown Essential Oil Suggestions
Anaphrodesiac – When you need to ward off the persistent ardour of your nearest and dearest, secretly add Sweet Marjoram Essential Oil to their diet. A drop per meal please, no more is required, my oils are potent!
Anti-Arthritic – When you can’t get out very much and you’re starting to lock up, ease your joints with Rosemary Essential Oil.
Anti-Depressant – Not a fan of pharmaceuticals but your mood is rock bottom or your anxiety is out of control, why not try these natural Essential Oils, Basil (Men love this, also good for Arthritis), Rosemary, Bergamot, Lavender, YlangYlang, Petitgrain.
Calmative – To calm everyone the fuck down, I recommend Douglas Fir Essential Oil.
Depurative – If you have over indulged and toxed up to the max, you need Grapefruit, Lemon or Fennel Essential Oils.
Sedative – If you are looking to knock everyone out naturally, or perhaps just yourself, then I recommend Roman Chamomile, Frankincense, YlangYlang, Lavender or Clary Sage.
